Deviation and GPS systems? I was running the other day and thought about the following problem: both bike riders AND runners now have GPS tools available to them. Which is more accurate? The runners are obviously moving slower than the bikers and the computer system on them is measuring smaller distance increments over a given period of time than the computer system on the biker. Does this make it more error prone or less error prone? Or neither? IE, is error in GPS simply a %% of the measurement or are there baseline distance errors that occur along with %% errors????

Is there an Aviation GPS system for laptop computers? I have found many automotive GPS systems for laptops, and have found aviation GPS systems for PDAs, but none for laptops so far. Does anyone have the Nextar W3 GPS system? I purchased a Q3 GPS system on ebay and the seller called and told me there were issues with my GPS so they said they would send me a replacement model known as the W3. Although it is a previous model they told me it was just like the Q3 except it does not come with the remote control and the designs are a little different. But when it comes to the software everything is the same. Plus it is a MP3 player if I put a SD memory card in it. Does anyone have the Nextar W3 or Q3 GPS systems? Are they good?
