... anyone heard of a GPRS / GPS chip that can be implanted in a dog... Dog theft is such a problem a chip with GPRS / GPS facility would be an amazing thing to have. We already implant our dogs with the name chips but surely this is the next step? I know you can attach them to collars but theives can take these off. One under the skin would be better. We'll know where our dog is all the time!
Who thinks our military personnel should be given a GPS chip?? Maybe injectable?? I think it would be a good idea that our military come up with an injectable GPS chip. So if they are going to be taken captive they can inject it or swallow it. Then we could track them down. Any thoughts or opinions?? I dont believe they should have it outside of war. It should be something that can be removed later on. Kind of like how we do our dogs and cats.
Implanting GPS Chips under a car? This is for research for my novel. How would you implant a GPS chip underneath a car, even as a law enforcement officer/FBI agent? And if you're a law enforcement officer/FBI agent, how would go about on getting permission to do so?
Do new phones in Europe have inbuilt GPS chips? In the USA it is becoming law that all new phones have a GPS chip, is this the same in Europe too? And if you have the chip, can people access your GPS information (ie phone companies/ advertisers etc?)

Some company is going to come out with a high profile advertising campaign about how irresponsible it is to not put a GPS chip in your newborns arm. What if they get kidnapped, and you didn't put a chip in their arm!? Your a bad parent if you don't get the chip! Soon doctors will have the option of putting the chip in right away at birth. That way we don't ever have to worry about babies getting mixed up. Twenty years pass, now 93% of new college freshmen have chips in their arms. They can't get into their dorm rooms without their chip. Suddenly, it's weird if you don't have a chip, the chip is normal. It's a convenience. What if you need an alibi in court? Not having a chip leaves you open to lawsuit. Insurace companies won't insure you. It's like maintaining the handrail on the steps in front of your house, it's silly not to do it. Sure your every move is tracked. But who cares. As long as you're not doing anything wrong it shouldn't bother you. By the way we've now got a new chip that monitors that levels of chemicals in the brain related to aggression. It's irresponsible if you don't use it. We've had a rash of school shooting lately. If we would have known ahead of time who was feeling aggressive we could have prevented them...

...everyone tagged, chipped at birth, ID cards, GPS in cars.. you won't be break any laws without knowing you'll get caught. Maybe this is a good thing? Or not? What do you think? Am I over exaggerating? Aren't we supposed to live in a "free" society?? Hazza, perhaps you would like to explain to everyone how, if you are chipped, you have freedom? If you are chipped, you can be tracked at any time, what's free about that? I'm a bit worried, I'm propsing a sci-fi nightmare and people think it's a good idea.....
GPS tracking for Dogs? and I don't mean the chips that if scanned, tells you the owners name. I mean something you can locate your dog with by GPS if they get lost ? Does anyone know where to get one?
Blown Head Gasket ?? Or Something Else? I have a 03 Nissan Altima with approximately 96,000 miles on it, and my warranty ended at 75,000 miles/3 year. Just recently I let my mother use the vehicle for the weekend in which she had a crackhead boyfriend at the time in which I wasnt aware about, well anyway she lended him the car in which he didnt ever return back with it that following weekend. So now I have a crackhead with my altima, luckily I have a GPS chip installed just in case the vehicle was ever stolen so I went to go rent a vehicle and went personally to go get my stolen vehicle, I found him and I was on a chase with him from Dallas,TX to about 15 minutes from the border of Oklahoma, during the chase were exceeding of speeds of around 95 to 130 mph (during the whole way, there werent any police in sight which was crazy) I was in a 3.5 dodge 06 charger, I got him to stop and he got out the vehicle and ran away and latter was arrested. Now so I get my car back and notice that the engine light is on also im late. I was late on a oil change and I also needed to get a trans and coolant flush, this is a Altima 2.5s, the vehicle started to act up, I started to hear a very loud noise of somewhat like copressed air being shot out from under or in the front of the engine, at first I thought it was the catback but its not, and I also was experiencing some white smoke coming out of my exhaust as it was an old vechile or something, I drove the car for about 120 more miles and than experienced a major loss in performance, the car would turn of at low speeds and made that very loud noise around 2 to 3.5 RPMS, also when the vehicle was off at long times, starting it up was a hassle I thought it was the battery but I took it to get it charged and its still acting the same, im trying to get all of my research in that I can before I pay alot of money for repairs. My friend told me I might possibly have to replace the engine, because he also had a blown head gasket due to racing in which it was replacedthanks:) my nissan altima 2.5s 4 cylinder wont even start up now and it seems as though the battery is low but its not, now Im forced to get it towed, to a good mechanic shop :(, is this typical for a blown head gasket.
Where does mail go if the address is abandoned house? Recently i was a victum of identity fraud, and credit cards were made out to an address with my name and another name. He had the credit cards sent to an address. I obtained the address from my credit card company, and I went there but the house was abandoned. In trying to find this scumbag, i want to know where would the mail be re routed to? Does it go back to the post office and then he picks mail up there? If considered sending mail to him with a gps chip and then tracking him down. I have a fake name and fake abandoned house. Any ideas on how to catch him?

Specific Details on 2.5 altima: the car wont start, turning on the car would shoot white smoke out exhaust, while driving it at 2000 rpm to 3500 rpms the car would make a loud noise of as if air was coming out from the front or under the engine,a major loss of performance I would press the gas and it didnt pick up any type of torque or speed you had to give it maybe between 30 seconds for it to get to 60mph when I was getting on the freeway, while on the highway experienced overheating temps shown from the radiator gauge,while sustaning speeds at 60 mph, I replaced the oil (full synthetic)after the incident and when I did that the car started to have trouble and eventually turned off, since this day I have tried to turn it on and nothing just a ticking noise as if the battery is dead. thats all what is going on with the car for those that needed me to explain in great detail.

Why is it necessary to ID farm animals and track them with GPS? By demanding the small tight budgeted American farmer with the burdensome task of tagging (mirco chipping) all his/her livestock and keeping tight records on same for the purpose of government compliance, monitoring and checking for violations to same, this new national program opens a large can of worms in the abuse category and the onslaught of fines, penalites and other Gestapo like government heavy handiness. This legislation needs to be DEAD ON ARRIVAL in the Congress and the House come voting time. There will be blood in the streets and the country and its entire way of life will suffer greatly because of this uncaring legislation targeting the American farmer.

How can i find my psp? i was wondering if by any chance the psp came with a chip sort like the one from a GPS System? this past month if had my psp lost so i kinda thought that there would be like a website where you can just type in the serial number and find it? is there a such thing as that or am i just crazy?
When will humans be both bio and technology? Do you think that sooner or later we will walk around with chips to track us/find us (GPS), for memory to record many useless details, for ID, for personal data like employment history and education?
Is it ethical as a Human and an American to be Verichipped? The Verichip is a government-funded program that will permanently place a small, electronic chip in every newborn baby. It will be used as a GPS tracking device, and tangible currency will be nullified. In essence, you will not be able to buy things without a Verichip. What car should I buy? I have a flexible budget. Right now, I am considering the new 2006 Honda Accord (3.0 V6 with GPS), 2007 Toyota Camry (2.4 but 4 cylinder with GPS, AFS, ABS etc etc - we do not have the V6 here) or the 2006 2.4 V6 Audi A6 (No GPS available). Problem is that the Camry is the best equipped (better than the Audi), the Accord the fastest and the Audi for the brand conscious. For business and family use...this will be a company car but I will have to chip in if I choose an Audi. What would you choose? BTW, the Audi is about 60% more expensive than the other 2.
Do you believe that we need to give up our privacy over security? Its seems that are privacy is almost completely gone. Our USA government can listen to our phone conversations. Look at out bank transactions. Go in to our house when we are not home and take what ever they want, and we never need to know about it. Patriot Act. All our cell phones have GPS in them so they can track us anywhere,so do the new cars. And all this in the name or National Security , do you believe that we have to give up our privacy completely for us to be secure, I strongly disagree. What next installing cameras in our homes , you know that new LCD TVs coming soon will have cells in them that work as camera. So whenever you will watch TV government can watch you. Pick up Maximum PC Magazine if you dont believe me. Than what get all us chipped with RFID so we can be like dogs on the leash. What are your opinions on this?
