Car GPS Consumer Reviews? I'm looking to buy a portable CAR GPS for a loved one at Christmas, and am unfamiliar with the various different types, options, etc. Is there somewhere I can find a "Consumer Reports" style report on this type of product?

NMEA vs/ SiRF? I'm looking to buy the Garmin iQue M3 GPS system. One of the Cnet reviews says this isnt that good of a choice because the M3 has an old sat com protocol (NMEA). the M5 Model comes with SiRF. My question is... is SiRF really much better than the older NMEA?
