ITRW, Being an "it" and being a "runner" was a pretty good trade off to beat boredom. Being "it" did give one a whole lot of power, especially if you could run fast and then make somebody else "it". I don't think I'd want to play it on-line. Because, as I remember, only rotten eggs play it....
