ok, i got my son a psp 4 christmas, and he says that i can put internet in it.... i just dont understand how..... i already read the book, but cant seem to do it,he says that all i need is a code from the internet, i already got tired of reading over and over... so can you please help me? how do i do it?.... he driving me nuts.

- go to playstation.com and go to the psp section. there should be a sign to update the psp.
- To accesss the internet with a PSP you have to have a wireless internet subscription in your home. That's the olny way to do it really. Or you could take your PSP to a place where do have wireless internet like Starbucks and use it there, but once you leave the Starbucks (or whereever you decide to go), the internet will not work anymore. I fyou already have a DSL or cabel modm in your house, you would have to get a wireless router. I reccomend calling your internet provide for help.
- the easiest thing to do is buy a newrer game, then plug the psp into the charger and let it charge a bit, then put the game in the system, under the game menu (the control) you will see an icon that has arrows, you use that and it will upgrade the psp, you need to have it plugged in to do it. you do that and if you have a wireless internet (exampl: DSL) then you can connect using that.
- you can access the internet with a psp only if you have a wireless router. you set it up just like a pc. go to the home screen>settings>network settings>infrastructure mode>new connection>and then put in the settings. the psp will even scan for available wireless networks within range. if the network is wep-protected you will have to enter the wep key. when you have saved the settings, you go to the home screen >network>internet browser. if that option is not available then you will have to update the psp firmware by going to settings>network update. you can only upgrade this way after you have set up a wireless connection as mentioned earlier.
