got nokia 6600 paired with tomtom gps receiver . works fine even with bluetooht connection off . i was told that needed 2 b on 2 get signal from gps but it don t seem 2 mather . what s bluetooth , how does it work ??? hope i was clear 2 u all , thank u ...

bluetooth is probably on by default, and you don't know. Bluetooth is just a wireless radio that works in place of a cable. They won't work together wirelessly without bluetooth.
