GPS on my cell phone?
is it possible to get GPS on my cell phone? i'm taking a short road trip in about a month and i was wondering if there was any way i could get GPS on my motorola razr cell phone. can anyone help me out? i only want a one time use kind of thing if that's at all possible. thanks for any help you can provide.

- Call your service provider. Verizon has VZ Navigator (GPS).
- They can trace you on the phone's gps, but i dont think you can use it to get directions for driving
- hi Kathy. I personally think a trac phone would be the best from walmart about $30 as a pre paid phone with gps.(can be tracked on the net I heard?) I ' not sure if your raizer has it . let me know about your decision
- The position locator on cell phones uses the towers to locate you. It is not at all like gps, and not very precise.. Gps uses satelites and a receiver and is very accurate. There is a gps receiver for laptops for under $100. complete with map and trip software. go to a sporting equipment store and look at gps receivers. BTW gps will not work in buildings and mudst be under the windshield in cars. the signal will go thru glass
