- They improve your ability to watch multiple things at once.
- I made an attempt to join a rugby team (it did not last long). Anyway, the guys told me to get the game EA Rugby. It is the best way for an American to learn to rules and positions to a game that it not that common in the states. I guess it would work for other sports as well?
- Well, some video games are educational, usually those that are aimed at younger players. Video games can also teach thinking and logic skills, as well as help youngsters develop motor control. Some can also help with such things as figuring out budgets. For example, on the Sims games, you are allotted a certain amount of money with which to build, furnish, and decorate a home, as well as plant flowers and trees in the yard. You have to do this as well as leave enough out for your Sims to survive on until they can find a job. Video games can be and are addictive, but it is the parents' responsibility to see to it that the child has other tasks and interests so that video game playing does not become a problem.
- They increase your hand eye coordination

- IT TEACHES YOU BETTER HAND EYE CORDNATION??
- The only ones I see that are beneficial to anyone are critical thinking or word games. The critical thinking builds, well, critical thinking, and the word games build a strong vocabulary and a quicker eye to read.
- A recent study showed that surgeons who played Super Monkey Ball twenty minutes before surgery performed better than those who did not. See link below.
- All of the above. Plus they're perfect for learning English. I daresay about 20% of the English words I know, I learnt while playing games.
- There are certainly several studies that have been done that demonstrate that video games increase hand-eye coordination. Also, similar studies show how video games have a positive effect on problem solving skills...
