Which video game system should I buy for my 3 kid(ages 8-6-5)?PlaystationII good enough?Games good this age?
The big issue is that I want something good enough with good availability of games for the next 2-3 years for those ages. I definitely do not want to create video game addicts. Actually, I am not against rational use of video games, but still the less the better. Rather have them playing outside. But there seems to be a big difference in price between PS2 and xbox and PS3. Not sure reason. Are xbox and PS3 more for adults or fanatic teenagers?

- Get the Nintendo Wii, perfect for kids
- Wii, and i think the Vsmart (hehe) good system
- Nintendo is the way you should go. They have games like Super Mario and Zelda which are aimed at a younger age group. With the nintendo WII just coming out that your best bet. It will last for a few years and it will have the games like Mario and Donkey Kong. The basic WII starts at $250. With the age your kids are there is no need to buy a $600 PS3 or even an XBOX. But a PS2 might be alright aswell. Its fairly cheap and the games go throughout the age groups so as your kids get older you can get different games
- go with the ps2 unless u can afford ps3(it can play both ps1 and 2 games) if u buy the ps2 u can probably buy cheap and inexpensive used games ps1 games that u can play on ps2. plus all of their friends probably have the ps2 game system so they can share their games. the difference between the ps1,2, &3 is that the graphics are improved with every model, just like tv sets (ie: regular tube type tv, lcd tv, plasma tv) hope ur kids enjoy their game system:)
- I am nine and I prefer the old Xbox or the Xbox360 Me and my father were xbox people xbox has great games for all ages
- REALLY U SHOULD TRY GAME CUBE ITS CHEAP 2 GET 1 ....LOT BUTT LOAD OF KIDS GAMES LIKE MARIO KIRBY AND WAY MORE WONT GO WRONG NOW IF U WANNA USE THE GAMECUBE ALSO THERES NOT ALOT OF OLDER ADULT GAMES.... BUT IF ITS FOR THE KIDS ONLY GET A GAMECUBE
- If your kids are that young and will still be a pre-teen 3 years from now, I would suggest getting them a nintendo wii. It is a lot more family friendly, it doesn't have as many violent games, and the new motion sensor wii-mote promotes movement, and although this is no replacement for fresh air and exercise, it's still a great buy!
- I recommend Delta Force 2 (an ultimate shooter game) and NFS 2 (need for speed a racing game). These are fabulous and I still play them they give skill in mind and swiftness in thinking. these games are for all ages. Delta 1 was made in 1988 to train the US army without opening a big training centre. So its very useful.it has 4 versions now and NFS 6 versions but Delta I play it on my PC but NFS has a PS version.
- I have the Game cube and you can get an attachment to put on the bottom of it that plays all the game boy advance games on it also. I just bought the Gameboy PSand i like it to plus i can play all the games with the Game Cube. There are a lot to choose from for the younger ones between Game Cube and Game Boy Advance Games. The games vary but tend to be cheaper than the games for the others!
- wii
