GPS coverage and/or roadmaps for Greece?
As far as I know, only Athens area is available with some GPS roadmap manufacturers. It would be great to be able to drive through Greece and the islands with the help of this modern technology; although I admit it must not be easy to compose such complete roadmap considering the sometimes confusing or missing roadsignes..
Anybody with some experiences?

- Its easier to come to greece and buy the card than try to find it on the net. Airports are also a great place to find GPS maps
- I drove from the UK to Greece in June. I'm still here in Greece... I used the Mio DigiWalker 269+. Got me all the way through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Italy with no problems at all. Greece, the only coverage I had was the major roads, still no problems, it guided me form the post of Igoumenitsa to my final destination, Halkidiki. Even through the city of Thessaloniki, it had no problems. As for the rest of Greece, I'm not sure. But once your here, its quite a simple place to get round I have found. I've been here nearly 4 months and haven't got lost....yet! Hope this helps.
- There are plenty of maps...I drove from Athens to Pilio and then to some small villages and they were all on the map. I had no trouble at all. Check out www.ngi.gr. Good luck!
- I'm afraid Greece is not fully mapped in terms of GPS. You can find 29 major cities in www.ngi.gr. You can also try www.navteq.com and www.teleatlas.com. Bon voyage!
- Good luck!! There are very bad drivers in Greece!!!
