An insurance company introduced a pay as you drive insurance policy. Who is the maker of the gps device?

I've searched the web but can't find the information anywhere. The insurance company licenced the pay as you drive technology from a US company. What with a recent report out on road congestion, this means that a gps type device would need to be fitted to every car to track the distance travelled, where and when the car went. Who are the manufacturers of these devices? Thankyou for your responses. I have found out that the in-car device used by Norwich Union is Traffic Master.
