can some of the viper/defender from the 1990s TV series be outfitted with today's technology?

in the 1990s tv show "Viper" a metitmorphing car turned into the Defender with "Gadgets" like oversied inflating on-road to off-road tires and a flying/hovering probe with a camera linked to the car and a hand held remote controle with a view monitor. the car also had 2 side compartments that held numberous things like grapling hooks and EMP balls that disabled cars dead in there tracks. My real question is, can the probe be recreated with the lightest polymers and "Cell processors" as well as lightwieght moters and GPS navigation Vidio cameras fly, function, and look as seemlesly as it did in the TV series?
