A thought about the Anti-Christ??

SOme say the Anti-Christ will come when the world is at great war and famish across the world. The Anti- Christ is thought to arise from Europe and bring the world to a few years of peace and prosperity, as a way to trick people in attempt to gain trust and loyalty from the masses. Also,new technology such as GPS, bar codes, cell phones, easy money (credit cards, ATMs,etc..) will be tools for him to use to lure followers into his domain, the lake of fire. Once peace is achieved, the more peace we have, the more we stand to lose. Then true Christians will be lifted out into the sky and the rest will suffer the rapture (like me), unti the world is too far gone and GOD sends Jesus to slay the Anti-Christ. Knowing this could George Bush be the precusor to the Anti-Christ, since he is prolonging war and making peace out of reach, which is the perfect sitting for the arrival of the Anti-Christ. Did the countdown of Jesus started in 1948 with the rebirth of Israel? What do you think?? I saw this on the history channel a couple of weeks ago. Hey Rose, I got this info. from a special on the history channel, I don't buy into the Christian mumbo jumbo, it was an exciting story for the least!!

Beautiful insight, but I don't think it's him. Yes, he does come from Europe, but I have to disagree with him making peace and prosperity. That will never happen with Mr Bush's War and us being under his reign.

I think that right now a group of individuals are trying to push somthing called a "New World Order" that will slowly abolish Christian Rights... This will happen SLOW... but is already under way... well, I'd like to know where you got your info. You'll be annoyed to learn (if you haven't guessed it already) that Christians can't agree on much at all. I read my Bible a lot and read other people's books on the end times , but no one is really convinced for themselves. Your theory sounds like stuff I read a few years ago , but don't hear much of anymore. I figure that I should hope for the best but expect the worst. Time will tell, I suppose. I guess if we really knew who the Anti Christ was or what it was, we'd avoid him/it hey? Well, at least I would. But I'm not going to live my life afraid of a credit card just because of someones interpretation that might be erroneous in itself. Hope you believe in Him soon since you're doing all this research. Kind of a waste otherwise..
i don't think bush is th anti-Christ or the guy who prepares the way for him. but since i do not believe that there will be a rapture, but that we all will go through the tribulation. but it seems like i read that when Israel was re-established,it would mark a forty year period. and after that we would start seeing signs of the beginning of the tribulation.i will have to read up on it again to make sure.
First of all the Rapture is when the Church is lifted up to Heaven.The Tribulation is what follows.The things you mentioned(bar codes,credit cards,etc.)are not part of the Mark of the Beast,but a desensitization to lead up to the Mark and make people more willing to accept it.Yes the count down started when Israel was reborn.
The anti-christ will rise out of the area of the Roman Empire. He is called the Assyrian, & the King of the North. North of Jerusalem is Syria, look there for his place of residence. He can't rise from Texas, not part of Ancient Rome, neither was Russia, that used to be where people said he would come from too.
Personally, I like to look at combinations of apocalyptic stories and come to a sort of rationale where they cross. For example, there is a quote from Nostradamus which is interpreted roughly as, "the first female U.S. leader will start the third world that will trigger the Antichrist's opportunity". Think of it this way Hilary's so gonna lose in '08 (if this country has any sanity left) and she'll win in '08 because no one believes in the competent third parties in this country. Afterward she's totally going to throw her husbands pants back on and start dropping bombs in stupid places because some general say there's a problem there. The "have the Rolling Stones killed!" sort of mentality. Also, isn't it an odd correlation that the technologies of the present/near future are associated with the Antichrist, especially when you cross that over with Mayan and Aztec apocalyptic myths that state the tools of man will turn against him. While not likely to be in the way of Maximum Overdrive, it is feasible that our own dependency on them could ensure the doom of millions. If the U.S. economy collapsed and a united Europe under a united Euro offered Americans citizenship by the droves to a semi-fascist society founded to unify mankind in an almost destructive potential. Anyone with that many followers that ear more dependent on their lifestyle than they are loyal to their nationality could go corrupt with power. Even a good intentioned person could be corrupted by that much power. It's not hard then to imagine the sort of megalomaniacal things that such a leader could justify to his people, such as insane amounts of nuclear missiles annihilating everyone else in the world that would "disturb the peace" that his followers would take for granted. Perhaps then Jesus could come and lay waste in literal destructive terms (all Super Sayan like) or perhaps as a metaphorical intent. Jesus (or perhaps someone else metaphorized to him in the precognitive sense) leads the free people of the world to fight against the Anti-Christ and his Euro-freak coffee sipping bastards. Moral of the story: Vote third party and listen to Darkwave Electronic. Oh yeah, an befriend the Amish.
Why are you worried about an anti-christ? Live for today. Religions have been predicting the end of the world since the day they learned how to write. Your end time is when your ticket is up. Hopefully you didn't waste your life on what might be and lived for the here and now. The trick to life is have fun, don't hurt other people (intentionally), make your amends in this life. You heard that old saying? "What goes around comes around" It's true. You can't escape this world without paying for your sins here. You will not feel peace unless you have asked the one you hurt for forgiveness...in this life!!
A thought about co-creation. hi! What you focus on expands, so why not focus on peace? You are creating your reality. If you don't like it, you can change it. It's everyone's choice. Due to fear and paranoia, people have planned and created an end to the poor planet; our Mother Earth. If people were to focus on peace and love, a whole new energy would be experienced on this planet. People are much too fearfull! If we want a healthy, peacefull planet, then we have to provide that kind of energy to her and to ourselves. When you're hungry, you go out and get a bite to eat, right? You are trying to combine religion with politics and that never ever works. George Bush, President of the US was elected by the people. Stop and think, if you had the responsibility of the US in your hands, could you handle it? No matter who is President, I always admire them for having the confidence to be able to run the US. People, not Presidents, choose war. People, not Presidents, elect Presidents. It's time for people to stop blaming Presidents, whom we elect, and start blaming ourselves, and start looking for a different way!
Anti-christ is the Devil incarnate. The Devil is a great deciever, and this nation of people a great believer. Bush (no need for a title) has lied many a times: past, present & future. The devil is probably wars best friend, bush spent 82 Billion+ of money that couldve went to saving lives instead of taking them. Do you really think the U.S. (us?) aren't the ones responsible for bombing holy shrines, mosque etc..? And do you think they would tell us if they did?
