which phone or pda?
I haved remote access permissions into my Outlook at work but I need a gadget to access them when I'm out in the car over the week end. What technology do I need? Would it be a phone or PDA with GPS? Does a Sony Clie SJ30 satisfy my requirments?

- I suggest PDA is better than phone, because it is more powerful. If you want combine one, try smart phone that include both handphone and PDA.
- BlackBerry...... one of the best email devices on the market... also browser is excellent... go for the 8700 device...you can also download for free Yahoo chat on their and keep in touch with friends and family while on the move.... If the 8700 is a bit bulky for you look at the 7130 device... Orange and O2 shops are the most knowlegeable in the UK, T-Mobile UK are the cheapest though... There are also a number of satnav solutions on the market too for BlackBerry. They are very secure devices, have loads of battery life too. I love mine...I'm so addicted.... they are also incredibly easy to use. They can integrate both your work email (if you company allow it) as well as any personal email accounts to consolidating it all on the one device.... PDA's are ok... but they are pretty weak when it comes to battery and durability.... phones are tedious in terms of text input. Also the way that PDA's work you have to buy a proper data tariff and PDA's use loads of Megabytes... so you will pay through the nose... especially when roaming. BlackBerrys are extremely efficient with data and you'll be hard pressed to spend in excess of your 5Mb allowance per month..... I use mine all the time and I never exceed the data allowance... I email, surf the web, run other applications like my CRM aswell as chat all day on Yahoo IM!!! Go take a look at them... they are the leading mobile email device on the market today and they do a lot more than just email.... Give it an hour and you will be a addicted to your "crack-berry"
