Is there or will there ever be a GPS for the PSP.?

  1. gps requires a reader to be connected to a satalite as of now there is one for a laptop avalible but that doesnt use the internet it relies on the porcessing power of the laptop to plot course and direction it uses the internet probably only to pull maps off of i think it is an intresting idea excpt it is a bit lacking in the practicality department for instance how would you enter the desired destination also how would you find a way to make the data small enough and fast enough to be real time gps being processed on the psp where would u connect the reader it has to beam data from a satalite so it cant be put in the general disk reader
  2. Strongly doubtful seeing as how even though the PSP is a portable device, it is used mostly by children and they have little use for GPS. However, more and more cell phones will include GPS as a feature. You could plug it into the USB port like they will be doing with the camera, and you could run the program off of a sufficiently-sized memory card, but the buyer base just isn't there.
  3. there is currently gps for the psp and a camera also you can get them both at play-asia.com but the gps only works in japan for now.
