- The Wii does not have a hard drive. You have 512MB of memory plus SD card expansion. You can pay with a Credit Card directly or to get Wii Points. You exchange Wii Points for the games. You will be able to by Wii Points Cards at stores similar to the way you can buy iTunes Cards. This way you can pay cash. Here is a pick of the card at Target: http://cache.gizmodo.com/assets/resources/2006/10/wiiiiiiicard.jpg This way parents can purchase a certain amount of points and the kids can spend them when needed/wanted. On September 14, 2006, Nintendo revealed that Virtual Console games in Japan would be priced at about GB£3.50/USD$4/JP¥500 for NES titles, GB£5.60/USD$7/JP¥800 for Super NES titles, and GB£7/USD$8/JP¥1000 for Nintendo 64 titles, payable via credit card or a "Wii Points" card. Nintendo expects 60 titles to be available before the end of the year, with 30 to be Genesis and TurboGrafx-16 titles. After that, 10 titles are to be released every month.
