Where can I get a small moderately priced GPS tracking device?

My bike has been stolen recently. Unfortunately, I had no way of tracking where it is currently but if I had some type of device for tracking it, I would not be asking this question now. You might say I watch to many movies but is there an almost undetectable device that sends signals for at least 24 hours upon theft and has a range of at least 5 miles? I've heard of this used in vehicles but I don't have that type of money and such a device would be so cumbersome, its not even funny. I've been searching for a while but Im not a very patient person with these search engines. So, if you know anything about tracking devices, tell me what you know, otherwise, go on to another question. Thanks.

  1. E-bay's got a ton of them..... try to find one you like - go to the garmin site - and educate yourself.... Once you find the one you want - search for it on e-bay..... lots of times you can get brand new ones with a warranty for a LOT less money.....
  2. You could use a pet tracking GPS device such as the one at: http://gps.buyerreports.org/2-172282-B000CEN0YC-Global_Pet_Finder_GPS_Tracking_Device_for_Pets.html but you'll probably pay more for the device than for your bike -- and the device may get stolen. Maybe a good chain and lock would be cheaper.
