i just bought a used 1995 lincoln town car executive. i dont want the people that i bought it from to know where it is in fear of them jackin my stuff i got inside or the car period. so where can i find it and remove it?

well first ,are you sure an 11 year old car has one-if yes and I assume total deconstruction is out of the question,do you know what company installed it and do you have access to their records or are they operating in "REAL TIME"? it has to be on top or near an edge as metal will mess up the signal.there are products that find radio transmitters that are about a hundred bucks at places like radio shack-remember it has to communcate some way and once you find the FREQ. you have found the BUG.
