Why are GPS systems for a car so expensive?
When you buy one, is everything included or do you need to spend more money to buy other parts not included that are needed to assemble it inside your car? Thanks

- Buy an after market one for 300 bucks and stick it on your dash, and plug it into you lighter socket, they work well.
- i own a repair shop,and have installed a few of them before,there expensive because of the technology involved in making them,and there is also a fee for the service each month one you install one,,sometimes they give you 3 free months when you buy a good one,and after that you have to pay the fee or it doesn't work but they are nice to have and they constantly up date them each time a road or highway is changed it automatically updates it for you,it comes with everything you need to install it with when you buy it,, good luck i hope this help,s.
