What is a highly recommended GPS system for your car that is also inexpensive?(nothing more then 350)?

Try the manufacturer Garmin.
Garmin has been around for a long time. Its probably the best bet.
I agree, there are not too many out there for such a low price that are decent. I would suggest that you browse the price and product comparison websites. They usually have customer reviews to help you pick out the right one for you. It will save you time.
