which gps navigation system is best in the market now?

I have not tried them all, as I couldn't afford too. I own a Garmin Streetpilot i3, which is a very small but very effective unit that has excellent navigation.. It runs about 270 dollars. I've also used the more expensive Garmin C320 which runs now about 325. Both units navigate exactly the same, but the the C320 has a touch screen, and a few more options. Sony has enetered the market with a GPS unit, but from what I have read, they aren't as good as Garmin. Magellan is also a popular brand, however I've looked at them in the stores and find that they are big and clunky and not as solidly built as Garmins. So, I recommend any of the new Garmin Standalone units depending on your budget. Garmin Nuvi, Garmin Streetpilot i3 or i5, or garmin C320, C330 or higher. I also recommend going on Amazon.com and checking these units out as well as reading all the reviews.
