cell phone with GPS? does it exist?
i want to get a cell phone for me, my wife and/or my girls.... if for some reason something happens i can track them (or them me) thru the GPS in the cell phone. does soemthing like this exist? how does it work if it does?

- verizon has a thing for that. their cells are gps, and they have a service where it can locate members of your family for you, via the phone i believe. im sure its a prog on the phone.
- well, i'm not sure how old your girls are, or if they'de want this, but there is a new cell phone feature through "Disney Mobile" where you can locate the location of the cell phone holder at any time. Once again, I don't know if you have young daughters, or older that they would be embarassed to have this. hope that helps.
- all cell phones now have gps due to a group of unfortunate teenagers that died while in a small boat in the great south bay. they called 911 and the dispatcher could not get enough inf. as the phone batery went low it was winter . the gps can be disabled by the user.
