Are all Verizon Wireless cell phones GPS E911 compatible?

Hi there.... All new wireless phones sold in the US are E911 capable. All of the phones that Verizon sells currently are GPS handsets. There is a second way that 911 information can be sent to 911 centers, but it relys on a triangulation method using the signal strength received from the phone to the nearest 2 or 3 cell sites. Don't know of any carrier here in the States that uses that method. Hope this helps!
