Good GPS units for car?
What are some good in-car, easy-to-use, inexpensive GPS units that speak directions to a driver? I plan to use it mostly in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

- I just recently purchased a Tom Tom unit. I must say that it is better than any of the other GPS units that I looked at. It can even connect to the internet using a Bluetooth phone to get traffic updates and weather! None of the other units even come close to the features and ease-of-use that this one has.
- the best car unit by far is the garmin 2620 or the newer unit available. the only drawback is the price, but still you also get what you pay for.
- I received a Mio 168RS for christmas, and it is beautiful. It comes preloaded with all US maps and Canada (except for Alaska). The unit looks like a standard Pocket PC, but it is very small and slim. It has a small GPS antenna on it and it comes with everything to mount it in the car. It comes with a pricetag of around $350 though tigerdirect.com (After $50 rebate). The GPS feed can be used in other software programs, if you prefer a specific one.
