What GPS tracker to use for my car?
I am looking to try out a GPS tracking device for my car, I don't want it to be "live" (that i can check it up online), rather I want to have to plug it in and offload it. But I am not sure if I really need this, so I am looking for one that has a return policy of a complete refund. Thankx

- I think I know what your talking about, but let's cover all bases. In-car GPS for navigation can be had several different ways.Pioneer, alpine, clarion and several other aftermarket stereo manufacturer's carry this type of stereo. You can also get a gps antennae and program for a laptop allowing easy directions and location finding. There are also device's to plug into your car to find out the max speed, distance and such so you can bust out your teenager for being reckless, these can be found at autozone,I don't remember their name. You can't download position though. The following website's I believe have what your looking for,to track a vehicle so you can download the info at a later time. http://www.gpstechnologies.net/ http://www.driveok.com/ http://www.thewitness.net/?OVRAW=teen%20gps%20auto%20tracking&OVKEY=gps%20auto%20tracking&OVMTC=advanced

- There are some car tracking devices out now that are not that expensive. The most inexpensive are those that you download the data from at the end of the time you want to track. If you want the real-time tracking type, that's more money and usually a monthly charge. Here are some of both kinds, in different price ranges: http://gps.buyerreports.org/2-GPS_Tracking_Systems.html I can't tell you which are the best. I suggest just reading the specs and giving one a try.
