Hello!! Can anyone let me know more about the MIO C130X GPS?
Is it any good? And please tell me what is up with MP3/GPS systems in one unit, is this a great idea to have them both in one device?
Open to any suggestion about Portable GPS systems.

- I posted this to someone elses question, but it should also help you. I don't know anything about the MIO, but here is my opinion on the best portable GPS units (brands): Garmin: Go with the C series or the Nuvi series Lowrance: iWay350C or iWay500C TomTom: GO series and ONE series Magellan: Roadmate series In my opinion the Garmin units will be the most reliable, most extensive, and fairly easy to use. Lowrance is loaded with features which make it a fantastic buy for the price, and it is easy to use and reliable TomTom is fairly easy to use, similar to Garmin but is still behind them in the GPS industry. Magellan is probably a little harder to use, but very extensive GPS Another option would be if you have a laptop, to go with Microsoft® Streets & Trips 2007 with GPS Locator (PC), Garmin® GPS 18 Sensor GPS Bundle, or Earthmate GPS LT-20 with Street Atlas 2005 and use your laptop as a navigation system. As far as the MP3/GPS combinations that is fine, they are just adding the ability to play mp3s, it doesn't take away from the actual GPS/mapping system at all. All of these should be available at Circuit City, BestBuy, or pretty much any other electronics store. Go check them out, a play around with them, just to see which one you find easier to use.
