Who sells a good GPS - for 500 bucks or less?

Looking for a good GPS - I tried a magellan 300 (basic model) but it wasnt good at getting a signal. When the signal worked it was great. I want my GPS mainly for traveling in my car.

  1. I use a Navman 6500 and it has served me very well. Another good make is Tom Tom
  2. I personally own a TomTom 300 and a Magellan 360, both of which are great, but my favorite thing about the TomTom is that it has a built in battery as well, so that you can take it inside to plan your trips without having to plug it in, and you can also walk around with it which is great too if you're in a big city and walking, no other GPS offers that. The new TomTom products are fantastic for the road warrior as well because you can load music files into it and play through the radio, and also take/make phone calls through it as well if you have a compatible Bluetooth phone.
