gps data to AutoCAD?
I use garmin 76 GPS receiver
I want to have data collected by GPS to be used in AutoCAD. which software to use?

- That doesn't seem like a good idea at all.
- does the reciever come with any software to download the data? if so check to see what formats it downloads to and see if you can import them into autocad, you might look at that manufactures web site too. if you have autodesk land desktop I think its alot easier
- AutoCAD's Land Development Desktop comes with a module that allows you to inport latitude and longitude in comma delimited format. I downloaded some software called "gardown", I think, that was free and would download data from any Garmin device. I have a GARMIN 12 that is really bare bones GPS and I can plot my track information as well as waypoints in AutoCAD.
