What do you think...?
If I was going to get a cell phone, what is the best phone and plan? I would not use it alot. I don't need a family plan.
I do need to be able to call anywhere. I don't care about a camera, computer access, GPS, games. music or any of that stuff. Just a phone. A phone that works.

- bring with you an old cord phone, and just plug it in at random places and see if it works.
- Nokia phone are very good.
- if you truly dont need these features then just get what ever is the cheapest at whatever company you choose. You may want to go prepaid.
- depends wut kind of plan u wanna get like how much money u want to spend for a plan and on da cell
- your best bet would be a go phone by cingular i highly recomend it
- I went to sprint and got a free LG and a two year plan with 1000 anytime minutes, free night and weekend, free long distance and my phone works in nevada and california with no roaming. but the service is kind of unreliable. it's 45 dollars a month. my husband has a phone from verizon and he loves it, his company pays for it so I couldn't tell you the plan. but just go to some websites and scout out some plans. you could even call around to different providers. good luck! oh, and I strongly recommend staying AWAY from NOKIA! I went through three nokia phones, each stopped working within a week of having them. my husband had to go down to sprint and throw a fit getting me an LG I have had it for a year and have had no problems with it.
- well i have a Verizon lg 3300 they r good no camera, no GPA or anything like that free nights after 9 and free unlimited calling free weekends too u can change the front and back to Wat ever style u like and get flashing antennas anything like that
- Verizon Wireless has the best service ever. Great customer service, I know because I am so picky. You hardly ever drop calls. They have the nationwide plan that starts at 39.99 a month for 450 anytime min, and goes up. YOu get free nites ( after 9) and weekends, plus free incalling anytime to other verizon people. And you dont roam - you can call from anywhere in the US. Check them out.
